What You Need to Know to Assess Heat Transport in South American Sedimentary Basins

Magdalena Scheck-Wenderoth is deputy speaker and principal investigator of the International Research Training Group "StRATEGy" and holds a professorship in georesources at Technical University of Aachen. She is head of the Basin Modeling section at GFZ Potsdam. Her research interest is in geodynamics of sedimentary basins on various scales, geoenergy potentials, and the integration of structural and subsidence analysis into 3-D models of the subsurface.
