Reactivation of INPRES seismic station

Martin Zeckra, "StRATEGy" PhD student, is recently in Argentina for checking the stations of our seismic network in the Salta province, which has been installed last summer. In cooperation with researchers from the Instituto National de Prevencion Sismica (INPRES) we were able to reactivate one seismic station of the permanent Argentinean network run by INPRES. Since a couple of years the station is out of order due to vandalism. Together we were able to install a new seismometer and solar panels in the station and brought it back to work.
