"StRATEGy" and the Minister of Research, Science and Culture of the State of Brandenburg meet Argentina

The Minister of Research, Science and Culture of the federal state of Brandenburg, Dr. Martina Münch, together with representatives of the University of Potsdam, including the President of the University of Potdsam (UP), Prof. Oliver Günther and the Vice president, Prof. Florian Schweigert, visited Argentina. During their stay in the argentine capital, "StRATEGy" organized a half-day visit at our partner Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA). UBA is one of the most important partners for "StRATEGy" in Argentina – with 6 out of 22 ongoing joint projects. Currently, UBA is hosting also one of the "StRATEGy" coordinators, Dr. Andreas Bergner. 

During the visit at UBA, the president of UP and the vice rector of UBA signed a new Memorandum of Understanding for the future collaboration. "StRATEGy" PhD students Martin Zeckra (UP), Julieta Wul, and Valentina Cortassa (both UBA) presented first results of their ongoing projects. Later on, the visitors and "StRATEGy" representatives together with the president of Argentine’s national research agency CONICET, Prof. Alejandro Ceccatto, and representatives of the Argentine Ministry of Research and Technology (MinCyT) discussed plans for the continuation of the "StRATEGy" program during a meeting at CONICET.
