M.Sc. Elisabeth Schönfeldt

Elisabeth Schönfeldt is a PhD student in the International Research Training Group „StRATGEy“ and holds a master degree in geology from the University of Potsdam. After studying for six months at the University of Buenos Aires in 2016 she decided to write her master thesis about automatic classification of debris flows in the Central Andes. Now her main focus lies on the mechanics and evolution of mega-landslides in the Andean foreland and the effects of glacial advances and withdrawals on these mass movements.
