We are pleased to announce that "StRATEGy" PhD-student Wera Schmidt and her start-up team won the HPI Business Plan Competition 2018. She and two of her "RockWorld" colleagues will receive a prize of €100,000 to develop and produce a digital field book. The Scholarships are awarded on behalf of Hasso-Plattner-Institute.

The HPI and the HPI Seed funds organized the business plan competition 2018 for the sixth time to help young start-ups. A total of 20 start-up teams with at least one HPI member participated in the competition. Since mid-May, the young entrepreneurs have presented their ideas and received feedback and input over several phases in order to work intensively on their business model.
