Magdalena Scheck-Wenderoth is a principal investigator of the International Research Training Group "StRATEGy", holds a professorship in georesources at Technical University of Aachen and is a deputy speaker of StRATEGy. She is head of the Basin Modeling section at GFZ Potsdam. Her research interest is in geodynamics of sedimentary basins on various scales, geo-energy potentials, and the integration of structural and subsidence analysis into 3-D models of the subsurface.
