The PhD-students will learn to refine their oral presentation skills, stress-management strategies, and public speaking. Subsequent presentations at network-wide meetings will help to reach this goal and prepare them for presentations at national and international meetings

Anne Hodgson is teaching English for business and academic purposes since 1998, shifting into intercultural communication skills training and coaching, and career transition consulting. She grew up bilingual on Capitol Hill and came to Germany to study in Konstanz in 1981. Further stops along her way were Berlin, the German Hygiene Museum in Dresden, an intercultural museum project in Singen, and her launch into the world of teaching English in Siegen. After ten years as an English trainer, translator and author in Munich, she moved north to Potsdam and Berlin in 2010.
