On Thursday 12, a seminar will take place at Golm on the following subject:

Foreland transitioning from Fold-and-Thrust belt to Broken-Foreland style - How is that possible?

The aim is to gather, share and discuss openly recent results obtained in the Santa-Barbara System and the Central Andean foreland in general. The most recent data in that area contrasts previous concepts of the tectonic settings in this part of the Andes. Further open questions require a broader perspective and thus, people are also encouraged to attend, which are just marginally related to the tectonics of the Andes.

For argentinian members of StRATEGy, we want to offer the participation through an online conference meeting.
