Claudia Inés Galli is Professor of National University of Salta and Independent Researcher of CONICET (INECOA – UNJu). My expertise combine the regional studies of mountain belts and basin analysis research applied to understand the evolution of the Central Andes, mainly focuses on the Eastern Cordillera and Puna regions. The research is related with to carry out the adjustment in the stratigraphy and tectonic events occurred during the evolution of Andean foreland basin in northwestern Argentina (e.g. area of south of Calchaquí, Tonco, Amblayo valleys and lately in the Quebrada de Humahuaca).  Has involved analysis of the paleoenvironmental, paleogeographic and paleoclimatic conditions in its deposits.
